The 22nd GCSM will be hosted by the University of Moratuwa (UoM) in collaboration with the University of Peradeniya, University of Ruhuna, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and the Open University of Sri Lanka – representing premier institutions in engineering education and research in Sri Lanka. Together, they have a longstanding tradition of producing highly skilled engineers and driving technical innovations that have contributed to development both locally and globally. With strong commitments to excellence across disciplines essential to sustainable manufacturing, the UoM led team is dedicated to delivering an exceptional conference experience that fosters knowledge exchange and networking.
The conference venue is the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel, set beside the tranquil Beira Lake in the heart of Colombo, which offers an exceptional venue for international conferences. Visa Information
Please note that all foreign nationals are required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) prior to their arrival in Sri Lanka.
In addition, effective from 25 May 2026, nationals of 40 countries are eligible to obtain a tourist visa (ETA) free of charge for a period of 30 days.
