GCSM 2026 Tours
As part of GCSM 2026, participants will have the opportunity to experience Sri Lanka through a combination of a factory tour and a Colombo city tour.
The tours provide an opportunity to explore Sri Lanka’s manufacturing capabilities, advanced production technologies, industrial practices, and the vibrant urban environment of Colombo.
Two tour options are available:
- Ansell & NOYON Lanka
- Colombo City Tour

Ansell & NOYON Factory Tour
[Maximum Capacity: 40 participants]
Experience Sri Lanka’s Contemporary Manufacturing Practices
The GCSM 2026 industrial tour offers participants a unique opportunity to visit both Ansell and NOYON Lanka manufacturing facilities located in the Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in Biyagama, Sri Lanka.
All participants registered for this tour will have the opportunity to experience both manufacturing environments. Participants will be divided into two groups. The groups will visit the two factories in parallel and then swap.
Tour Arrangement
- Group A: Ansell → NOYON
- Group B: NOYON→ Ansell
Each group will spend approximately one (1) hour at each facility before swapping.
Details of Factory Tour
Visit to Ansell Factory
Participants will have the opportunity to observe a world-class industrial glove manufacturing environment and gain insights into industrial production, operational practices, quality management, technology, and sustainable energy systems.
The visit will provide participants with a first-hand perspective on how their operations are organized and managed within an export-oriented industrial environment.

Visit to NOYON Lanka
Noyon Lanka is a Sri Lankan subsidiary of MAS Holdings that combines French lace heritage with modern warp-knitting technology. Originally established in 2004 as a joint venture with Noyon Calais – France, the company operates out of Biyagama, Sri Lanka, utilizing advanced Jacquardtronic, Textronic, and Rascheltronic machinery for end-to-end design, knitting, dyeing, and finishing. Noyon Lanka supplies high-performance engineered and stretch lace to top global lingerie and activewear brands—primarily catering to markets across the US, EU, and other international regions—backed by design and marketing networks.

Meeting Point & Transportation (Factory Tour)
Pick-up and drop-off location: Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo – Lobby
Participants are expected to arrive at the meeting point on time.
- 14:00 Leaving from the GCSM 2026 venue (Cinnamon Lakeside) by private bus
- 18:30 Return to the GCSM 2026 venue (Cinnamon Lakeside) by private bus
Please arrive at the designated meeting point before the scheduled departure time.
Important: Identification Requirements (Factory Tour)
As the factories are located within the Biyagama Export Processing Zone (EPZ), participants must carry valid identification for entry.
- International Participants: Please bring your passport.
- Local Participants: Please bring your valid Passport or national identity card (NIC).
Participants without the required proof of identity may not be permitted to enter the facilities.
Registration (Factory Tour)

By registering for the Factory Tour, you are registering to visit both facilities.
The organisers will assign participants to Group A or Group B and communicate the starting location before the tour.
A detailed itinerary and schedule will be provided to registered participants in due course.

Colombo City Tour
[Capacity for about 20 participants]
Discover Colombo: Sri Lanka’s Commercial Capital
The Colombo City Tour offers international conference participants an opportunity to experience Colombo, Sri Lanka’s commercial capital.
From its historic landmarks and cultural heritage to its modern commercial developments, busy streets, waterfront spaces, and rapidly changing urban landscape, Colombo provides a glimpse into the energy and diversity of contemporary Sri Lanka.
The tour is designed to give international participants an opportunity to step outside the conference environment and experience Colombo’s buzzing atmosphere.
What to Experience on the City Tour
The city tour will provide participants with an introduction to:
- Historic and cultural landmarks (Gangarama Temple, Dutch Hospital)
- The city’s modern architecture (Arcade Independence Square)
- Colombo’s vibrant street life
- Sri Lanka’s urban development (Colombo Port City)
- Sri Lankan culture and everyday life (Galle Face Green)

Participants should arrive at the designated meeting point before the scheduled departure time.
- 14:00 Leaving from the GCSM 2026 venue (Cinnamon Lakeside) by Colombo Sightseeing bus
- 17:30 Return to the GCSM 2026 venue (Cinnamon Lakeside) by Colombo Sightseeing bus
Registration (City Tour)
We will provide a detailed itinerary and schedule to registered participants in due course. Please note that international participants will be given priority for the Colombo City tour.
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
