Venue and Setting

Welcome to the 20th GCSM conference venue at the Vietnamese German University (VGU). Established through a unique partnership between Vietnam and Germany with a large campus and modern facilities for research, teaching, and learning, VGU is one of the new excellent universities in Vietnam. The university offers a high-quality educational experience with academic excellence, cultural diversity, and international exchange opportunities.

The 20th GCSM will be held at the new campus of the Vietnamese-German University in Binh Duong. As the transit between Ho Chi Minh City and the Conference Venue will take some time, the conference days will start a little later than usual and there will be a shuttle service between the city and the campus. The hotels proposed by the conference organization team will be served directly by VGU bus shuttles. We kindly ask participants staying in other hotels to arrive early at the meeting points at the respective hotels.

The Vietnamese-German University and Co Chi Minh City

VGU is located in Binh Duong City, just about an hour's drive from Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam's economic and financial center. Conference attendees can enjoy a distinctive blend of tradition and modernity in culture and cuisine in these two cities. While Ho Chi Minh City is famous for its culture, cuisines, commercial sky buildings, and lively nightlife, Binh Duong is impressed with historical and religious places. Binh Duong is also one of the cities with the fastest economic growth rate and industrial development in Vietnam.

Both locations offer conference participants a wide range of good hotels at reasonable rates. The university will arrange buses to transport conference participants from the recommended hotels in both cities to the conference venue, ensuring a convenient and comfortable experience for the participants.
