Industry Presentation Options
The Global Conference on Sustainable Manufacturing (GCSM) serves as a forum for academic and industry leaders working on topics related to sustainable manufacturing to share research advances and engage in intellectual dialogue. After more than a decade, this year the GCSM is being held in the United States!
For the first time in GCSM’s history, industry-oriented sessions are being introduced at this year’s event. Is your industry engaged in sustainable manufacturing? Are you doing interesting work that promotes the Circular Economy? If so, we would like to invite you to consider not only attending but also presenting at the conference! There are multiple options for such participation:
- Keynote Presentations: We are looking for industry nominations for keynote speakers. The nominee should be a company executive (Director, VP, CTO, or higher) and we are open to suggested specific topics in Sustainable Manufacturing and the Circular Economy.
- Panel Participation: We plan to organize a panel on ‘Opportunities and Challenges for Sustainable Manufacturing’. Share your leadership and successful experiences in the implementing sustainable manufacturing practices (e.g. recovery, reuse and remanufacturing, innovative product design practices, etc.) as well as challenges facing those considering adoption of these practices.
- Case Study Presentations: We plan to include multiple industry case study presentations in the program to highlight innovative efforts in sustainable manufacturing, including best practices and lessons learned.
To submit an abstract for your industry presentation please follow the link below.
Also notice that the Deadline for the Industry Presentation submissions ends on August 31, 2018.
Please feel free to contact Tony Elam (tony.elam@uky.edu or 1-859-218-4089) for more information about the industry presentations options, and to submit a nominee, mini-bio and related mini-topic abstract for any one or more of these opportunities. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to share your experiences at the premier sustainable manufacturing event of the year!
We look forward to welcoming you to Lexington, KY for the 16th GCSM!
Best Regards,
